2016 Cadillac CTS-V Spied Under Heavy Camouflage

It might be wrapped in swirly black-and-white camouflage on nearly every surface, but the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V was hard at work testing in the snow. We captured some spy shots of the upcoming performance sedan, and a few signature features give us our first clues as to how the final production car might look.

The next-generation Cadillac CTS-V is expected to have even more power than the outgoing super-sedan, which packed 556 hp and 551 lb-ft of torque under its hood. Cadillac is rumored to employ a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8, as it did with the outgoing CTS-V, but this particular engine could be related to the 625-hp LT4 engine in the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. That would give the Cadillac CTS-V’s V-8 engine significantly more power on tap than the 550-hp 2015 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and 577-hp E63
