HAVERHILL — A documented gang member who allegedly shot another gang member from a car his girlfriend was driving was deemed a danger to society and was ordered held without bail. His girlfriend was released on a number of conditions.
At a dangerousness hearing on Monday in Haverhill District Court, Judge Stephen Abany found probable cause to hold Vincente Delarosa, 20, of 98 Temple St., unit 2, Haverhill, without bail, pending his next court date.
According to the Essex district attorney’s office, Delarosa’s girlfriend, Taylor Couture, 18, of 542 Merrimack St., Methuen, was also found to be dangerous but was released on a GPS device and ordered to remain with her father on 24-7 house arrest. She must stay away from and have no contact with any known gang members, officials said.
Abany scheduled probable cause hearings for Feb. 23.
