Chevrolet Camaro And Corvette Sales In Europe Will Not Be Impacted By GM’s Sale Of Opel-Vauxhall

General Motors’ sale of its European Opel-Vauxhall unit to French automaker PSA Group will have no impact on General Motors’ other operations in the region.

Specifically, the transaction will have “no impact” on GM’s sales of the Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette, or of Cadillac vehicles in Europe, GM spokesperson Patrick Morissey confirmed to GM Authority. GM sells the Camaro, Corvette, and the Cadillac luxury vehicle lineup in limited quantities in Europe.

Yesterday, General Motors and French automaker PSA Group confirmed the sale of GM’s European Opel-Vauxhall division and associated vehicle financing operations to PSA in a deal worth €2.2 billion in cash €0.65 billion in PSA stock warrants.
