HAMPSTEAD — Police said they are searching for the driver of a pickup truck who nearly hit a pedestrian on Maple Avenue Thursday morning.

Officials said the dark-colored vehicle is likely a Chevrolet GMC with a dog crate in the back.

Police said they believe the incident was targeted toward a specific person.

Police have released a photo of the car they are looking for.

Police are also searching for the driver of a blue Mustang who they said was driving recklessly Wednesday night on Tewksbury Road. A picture of that vehicle was not available.

Anyone with information in either case is asked to contact Hampstead police at 603-329-5700.
