St. Paul Park police reports for July 29

A 25-year-old South St. Paul man was cited for misdemeanor theft after police received a report June 21 of a suspicious person with a flashlight behind Duffy’s Service Center, 701 Broadway Ave. Police found a Ford pickup with Minnesota license plates parked behind the business containing a variety of items taken from Duffy’s.

Two residents in the 1100 block of Fifth Street reported June 28 someone took items from their vehicles.

The owner of J. Michael Homes Inc. in Maplewood reported June 29 the theft of tools, copper pipes and electrical wiring from a home under construction in the 1000 block. Numerous holes were punched in the drywall and pieces were pulled off to access the wiring, according to the police report.

A resident in the 1400 block of 14th Avenue reported July 1 someone took a package from her door step.
