Elderly man dies after Monday car crash

A 93-year-old man who was involved in a two-vehicle crash on
Monday has died from his injuries, according to a press release
from the Oregon State Police.

Grant Albert was transported to Sky Lakes Medical center with
serious injuries after the car he was driving was struck on the
passenger side by another vehicle. Albert died a few hours
later.

The crash occurred at approximately 4:23 p.m. at the
intersection of Homedale Road and Southside Expressway after
Albert’s sedan, which was southbound and stopped at a stop sign,
pulled out in front of an eastbound minivan driven by Peter
McNally, said Sgt. Bob Fenner with the Oregon State Police.

The impact caused Albert’s car to slide across the road and
collide with a street sign on the south side of the intersection.
